A celebration of locally crafted beer.
Craft Beer Days is a brewery tourism program offering weekend events in communities across Ontario. Each event is designed to showcase the people and places brewing exceptional craft beer in a particular community and to promote collaboration amongst participating brewers.
The inaugural Craft Beer Days event took place in November 2019 and featured nine breweries across Durham Region. The next event is scheduled for November 2022 and will include all seven breweries in Kingston, Ontario.
A self-guided tourism experience.
Unlike a beer festival, Craft Beer Days provides an immersive brewery experience where you can connect with the people and explore the facilities where local beers are crafted. And unlike pre-arranged, bus-style brewery tours, Craft Beer Days lets you set your own itinerary and spend as much or as little time at a brewery as you wish. You are the designer of your own Craft Beer Days experience.
HOW IT WORKS
Three simple principles.
Craft Beer Days events are guided by a set of three simple principles. On the weekend of an event, participating breweries must offer free tours, featured beers and fixed prices.
FREE TOURS
Meet the people behind the beers and experience how craft beers are made during free guided tours at each participating brewery.
FEATURED BEERS
Try exclusive new beers from each participating brewery that showcase a particular style, special ingredient or established theme and vote for your favourite.
FIXED PRICES
Enjoy the featured beer at each participating brewery for a fixed price - $3 for a half pour or $5 for a full pour.
Track your visits.
Pick up a Craft Beer Days passport at the first brewery you visit and track your progress throughout the event. You will collect a stamp at each brewery you visit and can exchange your passport for a souvenir at your last stop. You will also be entered into prize draws based on the total number of breweries that you visit during an event.
